Katy's Peanut Butter Squares

Craving Chocolate and Peanut butter, eh?

So was I... so I concocted this delicious beauty.

Katy's Peanut Butter Squares
  • 1 package of low fat graham crackers (app. 24 crackers)
  • 1.5 cups of Jiffy Natural Peanut Butter (or if you have one healthier then that, try it as long as it doesn't have to be refrigerated)
  • 1 stick unsalted Butter
  • 1 bag Ghiradelli - Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler.

Put the graham crackers in a large Ziplock bag and smash them however you like... be creative :)  Mash them until they are the size you want.  (I prefer them really mashed up)
Melt the stick of butter and mix it with the graham crackers, then add the peanut butter.
Spread the peanut butter/graham cracker mixture into a pan (preferably a glass pan) and pack it in.
Poor your chocolate over the top of your mixture and place pan in the fridge.
As hard as it is...  leave your Peanut Butter squares in the fridge for anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.
I drew a heart in mine about 10 minutes into that refrigeration...

DIG IN.
